How does the findings-based pricing work?

Our fee is based on the identified findings amount — charged for the analytical work performed, not contingent on whether you pursue or win a carrier dispute. We charge 20% on Starter, 15% on Growth, and 8% on Enterprise of the total billing discrepancies our AI identifies. The audit fee is earned upon delivery of findings and is non-refundable regardless of carrier response or dispute outcome. If we find nothing, the audit is completely free. Starter accounts are asked to re-verify their email (free) or pay a $2 processing fee after 2 consecutive clean audits in a calendar month — this keeps the free tier fair for everyone. You see the findings summary and total count before payment — full line-item detail unlocks after you pay. A payment receipt is sent to your email automatically.

We accept PDF, CSV, and Excel (.xlsx) for both invoices and contracts. Our AI handles every major carrier format — FedEx Freight, UPS Freight, Old Dominion, XPO, Estes, and more. If your carrier uses an unusual format, contact us — we'll let you know if it's supported.
Is my data secure?

Yes. All uploads are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). More importantly, your documents are processed in-memory only — they are never written to any database, file storage, or log. Documents exist in memory for the 20–60 seconds of your audit, then are gone. We never share or sell your data.
How accurate is the AI audit?
▾
Every finding AuditFreight surfaces includes the exact contract clause, section reference, and invoice line item that supports it. If the AI cannot cite a specific contract clause, the finding is discarded automatically — so nothing in your report is unsubstantiated. You can verify every flagged charge yourself before disputing.
Do I need to integrate with my TMS or ERP?

No integration required for the Starter and Growth plans. Simply upload your documents directly. Enterprise customers can connect via REST API — contact us to discuss your specific setup.
What if my carrier disputes the findings?

Every finding in your report includes the exact contract language, the specific clause number, the billing date, and a pre-written dispute letter. Our dispute letters are accepted by all major carriers. Our audit fee covers the identification work — it is not contingent on carrier acceptance, credits issued, or dispute outcome.
Is there a document size limit?
▾
For best results, upload PDF or CSV exports directly from your carrier portal — these are compact and clean. Very large contracts (50+ pages) may need to be split: upload the rate schedule and surcharge sections separately rather than the full document. If your document is too large to process, we'll tell you exactly what to try next.
