Our fee model — why this is fair

AuditFreight charges on identified findings — the billing discrepancies our system documents in your invoice against your contract. You see the findings count and total amount before you pay. You only pay after reviewing what we found.

The fee covers the analytical work performed: cross-referencing every charge against your contracted rates, validating accessorial fees, flagging duplicates, and generating clause-cited dispute letters. This work has value regardless of whether your carrier ultimately agrees — just as a lawyer's fee is owed for drafting a letter, not for winning a case.

Free if we find nothing

If the audit identifies zero billing discrepancies, no fee is owed. The audit is completely free. This is the only scenario where no payment is required.

Non-refundable scenarios

The audit fee is non-refundable once findings have been delivered, in the following cases:

These outcomes are outside AuditFreight's control. The audit work — and therefore the fee — is complete upon delivery of findings.

$2 processing fee

The $2 processing fee charged to Starter accounts after 2 consecutive clean audits in a calendar month is non-refundable. It covers AI compute costs regardless of outcome.
